Household Terms of Use

These terms apply to every household that creates an account or buys a pass on Zaamin. Zaamin is operated by Meezan Technologies (SMC-Private) Limited, Karachi ("Zaamin", "we"). By ticking "I agree" you accept them.

What Zaamin is. Zaamin is an online platform that lists domestic workers after identity (NADRA), police/CPLC and previous-employer checks. Zaamin is not an employment agency, employer or contractor. We verify; we do not guarantee any worker's future conduct, skill or availability.
Your account. You sign up with your name, area and one Pakistani mobile number confirmed by OTP. One account = one household = one mobile number, used on one phone at a time. Switching to a new phone is allowed up to 2 times a month; lost or stolen phones are handled by support.
Free browsing. Anyone may browse category, experience, age, area, job type, salary range, languages and verification date for free, and post their need free of charge.
Lifetime Pass. A one-time payment unlocks, for the life of your account while Zaamin operates: workers' name, photo, phone number, previous-employer reference and verification report, in all categories; a free employment letter in the form required by Sindh law; and annual re-verification reminders. Price: Rs 24,999 on the website, Rs 28,999 in the iPhone app (launch offers on the website only). There is no subscription.
No refunds. Pass and add-on fees are non-refundable in all circumstances, except where a payment was taken twice or in error.
Fair use. The pass is for your own household's hiring. Unusual activity (for example very high numbers of unlocks, automated access, copying or exporting data) may be limited or suspended without notice. Each unlocked profile carries a buyer watermark.
Prohibited. You may not resell, share, publish or pass on workers' data; run an agency or brokerage through your account; build a list, app or service from Zaamin data; or contact workers for anything other than genuine hiring. Breach means the account is closed without refund, and we may take legal action.
Add-ons (optional). Verification of a worker you found elsewhere (Rs 4,999), annual re-verification (Rs 4,999) and express verification (+Rs 2,999). Results are based on the records available to us on the date of the check.
Hiring is between you and the worker. Wages, hours, duties and terms are agreed directly between you and the worker. Under the Sindh Domestic Workers Welfare Act 2025 the employer must, among other things, give a letter of employment in the prescribed form and send a copy to the Inspector, pay at least the notified minimum wage, allow the legal leave and not employ anyone under 16. You are responsible for meeting these duties.
Complaints and safety. You can report a worker in the app. We may hide a profile while we review (about 5 to 10 days) and block it if the complaint is serious. For any crime, contact the police first; Zaamin will cooperate with lawful requests.
Blocking. We may block households that abuse, threaten or mistreat workers or misuse the platform.
Liability. Zaamin is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for any act or omission of a worker or household.
Changes. We may update these terms and will show the change in the app or by SMS; continued use means acceptance.
Law and courts. Laws of Pakistan; courts at Karachi.
